to support production of precision parts for major automotive
manufacturers. Conventional fluid purification systems
were insufficient to meet our requirements. We required
a system that would : (1) maintain particle counts as
low or lower than new oil; (2) rapidly remove particulate
as new parts were run through the test stands; (3) reduce
waste oil generation as part of Eaton’s commitment to
reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing. The
ISOPur tm units achieved all three objectives … dramatically
increasing fluid quality test results which means higher
quality components and a reduction in rejection due
to fluid contamination from almost 42% to less than

at the power house, we averaged one oil related outage
every eighteen months on one of the four steam turbine
here . Since the ISOPur tm Systems were installed five
years ago, we have had no oil related issues whatsoever.
The resulting savings in the expense and overhaul budgets
over the five year cycle is between $ 260,000 and $
300,000. This does not include the incremental savings
